Rolls-Royce: Saving the Heroes
London, England – The idea of the new Rolls-Royce is to stop the top dogs from becoming underdogs. It has created an armoured version of its Phantom that looks just like the original.
The new Phantom meets the highest current international protection rating yet and the aluminium space frame chassis and suspension components have been strengthened to handle the extra weight. The engine has not been modified.
Rolls has specified high-tech fibre composites, special steel and thick glass containing a polycarbonate layer to provide protection of the highest standard.
The engine produces 340kW and 720Nm of torque. The car is still as luxurious as ever and comfortable, even though the armouring will be done through an external company.
The new Phantom will be available in Europe and the Middle East and customers will be able to order their new armoured car from any Rolls-Royce dealer and can tailor every aspect of the car to their own requirements.
