The Kawasaki Z750 is here and it brings your more bike for your bucks

With improved stability and handling characteristics, the new Kawasaki Z750 brings higher comfort levels and improved power delivery to the street – without costing you an arm and a leg.

This latest Z750 model is a combination of performance and comfort, bringing the rider better handling and higher comfort levels.  A 748cc 4-stroke in-line four-cylinder engine kicks out 77.7 kW at 10 500rpm and a maximum torque of 78 Nm is found at 8300rpm.  The steering head has been moved forward 10mm to extend the wheelbase, improving stability.

The new cast aluminium engine sub-frame allows the front engine mounts to be repositioned closer the centre of gravity, which, along with a combination of rigid and rubber mounts, reduces engine vibration transmitted to the rider.

To reduce unsprung weight and improve heat dissipation, triple petal brake discs were fitted that help deal with the increased power. The revised oil pump gear ratio helps reduce mechanical losses.  Ignition mapping also improves power delivery and a lightweight high-efficiency radiator keeps temperatures and weight down.

The new Z750 is 40mm narrower below the seat, has a smaller fuel tank and the footpeg hangers have been moved slightly inboard so shorter riders can comfortably reach the ground with both feet.

The all-new Kawasaki Z750 is as close to a powerbike you will get in terms of performance, but is much more suitable for everyday use.  It sells for R69 995 and is available in lime or black and comes with a two year unlimited distance warranty.
