Collectors to fight over this Ducati model
The North American market will see the rarest Ducati model in history with only 100 Monoposto 2007 Sport SE models to be manufactured.
This bike will be more of a collector’s item than a toy for fun – seeing as it is sold at around R256 000. Which is quite a lot for a one-seater bike.
Of the 100 units produced, 90 will go to the US and 10 will be for Canada. A numbered plaque, located on the triple clamp, will identify each of the limited 100 Monoposto 2007 Sport 1000 SE models.
A combination of modern technology and historic design puts together this new motorcycle that makes one remember the days of the 1978 Ducati 900SS. It also features the classic Black and Gold body paint.
Powered by the 992cc dual spark motor, which puts out impressive torque and horsepower figures, this limited model also features a twin muffler exhaust; spoke wire wheels and Brembo brakes.
The Ducati collector’s item Monoposto 2007 Sport 1000 SE is said to create a lot of jealousy under the American nation because 100 motorcycles sure is a tiny amount for such a big popularity!
